Austin garden lovers and designers came out on a chilly Thursday evening for Garden Spark to hear Columbus-based designer Nick McCullough speak. Nick has a huge fan following across the US and shares inspiring photos and garden stories from his new book American route. I have reviewed American route Last year, so check out if you want to know more. Plenty of austenite, as it turns out! And Burton Springs Nursery’s outdoor classroom was once again the beautiful setting for this Garden Spark event.
Alison, Nick’s wife, business partner and co-author, was also at Garden Spark and joined the Q&A session after the talk. It was great to meet them both and hear more about the book and their design work.
Austin landscape architect Tait Moring’s personal garden is featured in Nick and Alison’s book, so yes, you’ll see Texas in the book, as well as many other regions around the country.
Follow Nick on his popular Instagram for regular design inspiration. Big thanks to Nick and Alison for traveling to Austin for Garden Spark, and to everyone who came out to talk!
